About Sébastien

Sébastien Lacroix is a senior partner in McKinsey’s Paris office. Previously, he worked in our New York and Singapore offices.

Sébastien leads our work for private-banking clients, both in France and across Europe. He also co-leads the firm’s work for retail-banking and asset-management clients in Europe.

Sébastien specializes in growth, marketing, distribution, and post-merger integration issues, advising clients in banking, wealth management, and insurance. He is particularly active in designing entry strategies for new geographic markets, piloting post-merger management programs, and improving operational processes and organizational structures. He also conducts due diligence in these areas for European and US private-equity funds.

In addition, he organizes McKinsey’s annual Private Banking Survey, and has contributed to several recent R&D initiatives in the savings market and retail banking. He also dedicates part of his time to higher education and research.
