Alok is a senior partner at McKinsey who has worked in our New York, London, and Mumbai offices. He leads client service for several founder-led companies and large enterprises and investors across Asia, Europe, and North America.
Alok leads our Global Founder Initiative initiative, which works with founders across the world in different sectors to help them build large-scale and enduring institutions. He has worked extensively with founders on helping them power through inflection points (e.g., global expansion, M&A, IPOs, large enterprise partnerships, deploying agentic AI) and how to unlock leadership energy and culture change through transforming their personal operating models.
His prior leadership roles have included leading McKinsey’s Transformation, People & Organization, and Risk and Resilience Practices in Asia.
Beyond McKinsey, he is committed to catalyzing impact in the social sector. He is the Honorary President of the National Association for the Blind, Karnataka. He serves on the Boards of PRS Legislative Research, Mahindra University, and KAF. The World Economic Forum named him a “Young Global Leader” in recognition of his commitment to international business and public policy.Alok was a National Merit Scholar at St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai and an Inlaks Scholar at the University of Oxford.
