We provide advice and counsel to enable our colleagues to deliver distinctive services to the firm’s clients globally, while protecting the firm from legal and reputational risks. Our team is comprised of approximately 200 lawyers and legal professionals across nearly 50 countries who come to McKinsey from leading law firms and corporations.

At McKinsey Digital, we have a deep understanding of the law around technology, data privacy and security, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. We apply this knowledge to create tools and frameworks to support innovation and collaboration with our clients.

Global Public Sector

Our team’s legal expertise helps our public sector practice solve complex social issues and improve the lives of citizens worldwide. The firm’s public sector work ranges from government to education, healthcare to defense and infrastructure.

Intellectual Property

The ideas born here are some of our greatest assets. We provide guidance on the usage, protection, ownership, and enforcement of the firm’s intellectual property rights. We act as counsel for our colleagues and the leadership team on issues related to trademarks and trade secrets.
