Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is embedded in our history and daily practice. We have long sought to advance and promote diversity in our own firm, and to foster an inclusive culture where every colleague feels a deep sense of respect and belonging. We also strive to do the same in our clients’ organizations and in society more broadly.

Diversity & Inclusion at McKinsey
In June 2020, we committed to a list of 10 actions to deliver change within our firm and to play our part in combating racism across the world, and we provided a progress update in the summer of 2021.
Through our culture, policies, and systems we strive to create an exceptional global environment for all colleagues. Our affinity networks foster community, mentorship, professional development, and advancement for women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, colleagues from minority ethnic groups, parents of special-needs children, veterans, and colleagues with disabilities.
We invite you to learn more: explore our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion website, check out our blog posts featuring members of our networks, and follow our Instagram and Real Life at McKinsey Facebook page for more stories about our colleagues’ lives. Finally, you may enjoy our latest report on the link between diversity and corporate performance, Diversity wins: How inclusion matters.
As you progress in our recruiting process, we encourage you to seek out personal stories from colleagues who have benefited from our welcoming, supportive environment. These conversations will hopefully help you realize McKinsey could be a great fit for you.
