A multi-year strategic roadmap reimagined six supply chain domains anchored on 65+ AI agents, supported by 50+ cross-functional pods and a skills assessment with a gap-closure plan.

The program identified $1B+ in impact and enabled a self-funding journey through a sequenced agent ecosystem, delivering roughly 40% efficiency gains from automation and simplification and a 10x faster planning cycle with rapid sense-and-response to changes. Additional outcomes included 50% cost savings on aged inventory from reduced excess and obsolescence and a 2–5% improvement in procurement effectiveness.

A leading materials production company with over $15B in revenue and large-scale operations aimed to be a pioneer in using GenAI for procurement transformation, leveraging its Center of Excellence to define a vision for strategic procurement focused on value-generating applications and business agility.

More than 17 applications were mapped with full business cases developed for each—covering objectives, impact structure, costs, implementation feasibility, improvement KPIs, and a buy-vs-develop strategy. A phased implementation plan was proposed with a strategic roadmap for Wave 1 priorities.

The roadmap projected an estimated 8% impact in Wave 1 and roughly 3% in each of Waves 2 and 3 over the addressable spend baseline, driven by improved processing times through process automation.
