Andy West is a senior partner in McKinsey’s Boston office. He is our Global Transactions Leader within the Corporate Finance Practice, which includes Mergers, Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, and Divestitures. He counsels senior leaders across the healthcare, medical devices, high tech and industrials sectors on all aspects of acquisitions and divestiture strategy, deal making and integration.

Andy has extensive experience helping clients improve performance across the transactions value chain, from strategy and sourcing to diligence and integration. His passion also lies with supporting clients in driving large-scale commercial transformations through M&A, including redesigning the sales force, approaching marketing integration and strategy, building capabilities for enterprise selling, and driving cross-selling. He also has experience in restructuring, cost management, and large scale reorganization and transformation.

As part of his work on global mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures, Andy helps senior executives realize the greatest possible value from transactions, large-scale transformations, and turnarounds. He has worked extensively in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
