Neelesh specializes in supply-chain transformations across industries, ranging from automotive, chemicals, metals, and mining to e-commerce. His expertise also extends to advising logistics companies on business building, strategy, operations, and organization transformation.

Neelesh’s recent work includes enabling some of India’s leading automotive, cement, and chemical companies to optimize their supply chains to save costs and improve service levels. In his role as logistics leader, he has helped a leading multinational client set up a new business in India and advised an e-commerce third-party-logistics company on enhancing its operational efficiencies. He has also worked closely with the government of India to develop the logistics industry, identifying challenges and areas of opportunity.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Neelesh worked with a multinational consumer-goods corporation in its supply-chain division.

He has also published, in partnership with government and industry experts, several reports and articles on the supply chain and logistics domains.
