Office culture

Community involvement

Deeply committed to the future of China, our individual offices support numerous social initiatives.

In Hong Kong, we recently launched the Generation initiative to help youth between the ages of 18 and 29 develop the practical skills they need to find jobs. A not-for-profit organization founded by McKinsey in 2014, Generation also operates in India, Kenya, Mexico, Spain, and the United States. This innovative program empowers young people to build sustainable careers and to provide employers with the highly skilled, motivated talent they need to move their businesses forward.

In Taipei, we host the McKinsey Scholar program for high-performing undergraduate students. Over the course of eight weeks, we provide training and mentoring experiences to introduce them to our firm and the world of management consulting.
