Diversity Connect 2020

Diversity Connect supports the professional interests and growth of talented Black, African-American, Hispanic, Latino, and/or Native American students who are pursuing a PhD, postdoc, MD and/or JD degree.

Diversity Connect has been created to meet and support the professional interests and growth of talented Black, African-American, Hispanic, Latino, and/or Native American students who are pursuing a PhD, postdoc, MD and/or JD degree. The 1.5-day virtual program includes interactive workshops, activities to sharpen interview skills, Virtual connections with McKinsey colleagues and fellow participants, as well as exciting panels and speakers. We hope you’ll join us for this opportunity to learn about consulting and McKinsey and connect with your peers alongside a group of inspiring McKinsey professionals.

Who is eligible?

Successful applicants will have strong academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and proven leadership ability. We are looking for students who are accomplished and well-rounded with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

  • Candidates will identify as Black, African-American, Hispanic, Latino, and/or Native American race or ethnicity
  • Receive their PhD, postdoc, MD or JD degree (or Master's from HKS) in 2021
  • Graduate programs include: medical students, interns, residents and fellows who plan to complete their program in 2021; PhDs and postdocs, who plan to complete their program in 2021 and only those Master's students who previously obtained an MD and who plan to complete their Master's degree in 2021 and students from HKS.
  • Eligible candidates may apply to both Diversity Connect & Insight. If selected, you may only attend one program. You will be asked to specify which program you are most interested in attending in a follow up questionnaire after submitting both applications.

Only complete applications will be considered. Selected candidates will be evaluated on application materials and a brief phone interview (no prior business knowledge is required). All applicants will be notified in April 2020.
