What is Connect with McKinsey and why should I fill it out?
Connect with McKinsey is a form that allows prospective candidates who are interested in full time and internship opportunities for the 2024 recruiting season to gain access to upcoming recruiting events and resources. If you are an undergraduate student or a student in a non-MBA master’s program and you want to learn about opportunities at McKinsey in 2024, this form is for you.
If I filled out Connect with McKinsey last year, do I need to fill it out again?
Yes. Connect with McKinsey is an annual submission that prospective candidates must opt in to. We are excited to get to know you better and we encourage you to submit your most up-to-date resume.
Is Connect with McKinsey an application?
No. Connect with McKinsey is not a job application.
Why do I need to upload a resume?
We are excited to get to know you this recruiting season and will use your resume to share recruiting resources and programming that aligns with your interests and experience. Although the resume you submit for Connect with McKinsey is not used to make hiring decisions, we highly encourage that you submit your most up-to-date information.
When does the application for 2024 open? When does it close?
The US application launch and deadline dates for the 2024 Business Analyst, Summer Business Analyst Internship, and Sophomore Summer Business Analyst Internship have not gone live yet. Prospective candidates who fill out Connect with McKinsey will be the first to be notified when these dates go live. If you’re interested in our North America locations outside of the US, please contact the McKinsey Canada recruiting team or the McKinsey Mexico recruiting team to learn more.
What is “Solve” and why am I being prompted to complete it after filling out Connect with McKinsey?
If you apply to join McKinsey, you’ll be asked to play our innovative assessment game, Solve. Solve was created to help you demonstrate your problem-solving skills in a more interesting, fun, and realistic way than a traditional question-and-answer format. Completing Solve during the recruiting season will save you a step when our application goes live. Should you apply for a full time or summer intern role at McKinsey this recruiting cycle, your solve score will already be on file and you will not be prompted to take it again. No preparation or prior business or gaming knowledge is needed.
If you’ve completed Solve within the last 12 months you will not be prompted to complete Solve again, as your current score on file will be linked to your Connect with McKinsey profile.
