We are always seeking exceptional and diverse people. While we focus on hiring Vietnamese-speaking consultants, our recruits are otherwise highly diverse. Some recruits join us after graduation from local and international universities, while others come from industry.
We are particularly interested in hiring experienced professionals with backgrounds in financial services, consumer packaged goods, retail, or digital and have the credentials to join us as junior associates, business analysts, or associates. Regardless of expertise, all McKinsey recruits share a commitment to curiosity, problem solving, personal growth, and above all, client impact.
While diversity and inclusion have always been core to our mission and values, our research on the importance of women in leadership and the economy has accelerated our own efforts to advance gender parity. We actively recruit women at focused recruitment sessions, where we also share information about the various career paths available at McKinsey. Through our global network of McKinsey women, we organize networking events and discussions of gender parity, among other topics throughout the year.
At McKinsey Vietnam, we believe in the power of Vietnamese youth. We recruit graduates from a wide range of Vietnamese and international universities. Students who pursue full-time postgraduate studies are eligible for our Associate Intern Program. In 2016, we also founded the McKinsey Consulting Fellowship Program (CFP) to prepare strong local talent for a career in management consulting.
