About Shail

Shail leads the Northern European hub of the firm’s Pharmaceuticals & Medical Products Practice. He also leads our global healthcare organisation work, bringing the best of our organisational thinking and expertise around organisational health, enterprise agility, and design to our healthcare clients. He previously co-led the EMEA Pharmaceuticals & Medical Products Practice for emerging markets.

Over his 15 years with the firm, Shail has worked with healthcare organisations around the globe on driving innovation, productivity, and growth; supporting major post-merger integrations, carve-outs, and asset transfers; leading important performance transformations and restructurings; launching numerous medical devices and pharmaceutical products; and bringing about commercial and product-development excellence. His clients range from the largest global healthcare conglomerates to pre-revenue start-ups.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Shail gained experience in research science, business development, and project finance.
