Sebastian is a partner at McKinsey currently based in Munich. He serves clients globally on strategic, supply-chain, operations, and sustainability-related topics. He is a trusted advisor to leading resource-based companies including mining, agriculture, chemicals, and cement.

Sebastian advises clients on how to achieve step-change performance improvements by leveraging disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to drive impact along the value chain while enabling people to drive transformational change. He coleads our work on supply chain in mining to deliver cutting-edge digital assets to support optimization of end-to-end supply chains.

Drawing on his deep knowledge, Sebastian worked with clients in more than 20 countries, including Australia, Canada, Germany, Malaysia, South Africa, Thailand, and the United States.

Sebastian also leads the firm’s sustainability work on cement ecosystem globally. He is passionate about helping companies across the cement ecosystem shape their decarbonization pathway and take effective measures to remove carbon.
