Max is a partner in McKinsey’s Munich office and a global leader of the firm’s Operations Practice. He serves clients across the automotive, rail, and aerospace sectors on operations topics, including performance improvement and capital portfolio optimization. Max is recognized for his expertise on ramp-up in low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing and supply chain in aerospace industries.

Max holds a PhD in industrial engineering and a master’s degree in business economics from RWTH Aachen University. Prior to joining McKinsey, Max was a general manager of PennEngineering Mexico, serving the automotive industry in improving performance and securing ramp-ups in North America.
