Mark is recognized for his expertise in early project development, planning, and execution, as well as his leadership in our capital metals and mining work.

  • partnering with a leading data center builder to leverage AI for global builds, optimizing execution through generative scheduling and design
  • collaborating with a North American data center builder to reduce time to market by developing and deploying a standardized construction playbook
  • leading a technology-enabled operations transformation for a mining company, improving efficiency across open pit mines with advanced analytics
  • optimizing the contracting strategy for a leading battery gigafactory builder to ensure projects were on time and on budget, including the design of contractual terms and conditions
  • leading the turnaround of the execution phase of a $15B+ semiconductor fab, identifying and implementing priority initiatives to improve frontline performance

Mark holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Memorial University. Before joining McKinsey, he gained extensive experience in strategy and engineering roles at Encana Corporation.
