Filip advises large energy and basic material corporates and scale-ups in Europe, focusing on net-zero strategy and climate transition. He is also a leader of our work in sustainable investing, advising institutional investors on investment strategy, due diligence, portfolio analysis and value creation.

Through his work in the climate transition ecosystem, Filip has covered a broad range of topics including:

  • Low-carbon materials; net-zero strategy, investment and scaling of low-carbon materials including aluminium, steel, copper and rare earth metals
  • Low-carbon fuels: bio-based and green hydrogen-based fuels, and sustainable fertilizer products
  • Sustainable investing: fund strategy, due diligence, portfolio company value creation and project finance
  • Green Business Building: financing and hyper-scaling strategy, including commercial and capital excellence

Filip also has deep expertise in strategy, corporate finance and M&A, having lead more than 50 strategy engagements and due diligences in the Global Energy & Materials sectors, and with a background in energy and infrastructure investment banking.
