About Danielle

Danielle leads McKinsey’s Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail Practices in the Northeastern United States and has more than 15 years of experience serving consumer-goods, retail, and consumer-focused private-equity clients across the region. Her extensive client work focuses on transformations, growth strategies, strategic transactions and integrations, and consumer, brand, and channel marketing.

Danielle has served a range of clients in the retail sector, including specialty, mass, grocery, apparel, department store, and luxury. In addition, her consumer-goods work has spanned a range of categories in consumer goods, such as beverages, food, personal care, beauty, and consumer health.

Examples of Danielle’s client engagements include the following:

  • developing and executing long-term transformation and growth strategies for multiple retailers, including supporting the reinvention of their product assortment, optimizing their pricing and promotions, and helping build their digital, omnichannel, marketing, and personalization capabilities
  • leading multiple efforts with at-scale as well as with smaller, high-growth consumer-goods companies, focusing on their end-to-end strategy, innovation, M&A, marketing, channel, and organizational efforts
  • leading significant efforts with several consumer-focused private-equity firms, supporting them across the investment process, from due diligence and postdeal planning to long-term portfolio company transformations and exit

Outside of her client work, Danielle leads McKinsey’s efforts in recruiting women in North America and the firm’s pro bono support for several leading charitable organizations, including the Robin Hood Foundation and the American Ballet Theater Company.
