Daniel leads McKinsey’s service to engineering and construction companies, which includes advising leading architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) technology firms across the construction value chain. His work focuses on integrating technology, data, and analytics to drive value creation and improve operational performance, helping transform the delivery of project-based organizations across a range of industries.

Daniel has led large-scale transformations across sectors, including AEC, energy, and industrial services. He has a strong track record of delivering impact for clients across a wide range of strategic and operational topics, including megaproject execution, digital and AI, procurement, M&A, commercial excellence, operating model design, and private equity portfolio transformations.

  • directing a corporate strategy refresh for a global engineering and construction player, identifying key opportunities over a five-year horizon
  • transforming a leading engineering services firm to achieve millions of dollars in efficiency value and increase market capitalization by billions of dollars through initiatives covering operating model, technology, working capital, future of work, commercial, and growth strategies
  • advising a construction technology firm in redesigning its channel and go-to-market strategy
  • transforming a national electrical contractor to deliver >40 percent EBITDA improvement through commercial, procurement, labor, and field productivity initiatives
