Carlos coleads our Operations Practice in North Latin America. He has deep experience in the Latin American banking sector as well as broad operations expertise across diverse industries ranging from consumer goods to retail to automotive.

Carlos has supported broad corporate transformations in a range of sectors and across multiple countries, including Argentina, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, and Peru.

Examples of his recent client work include the following:

  • leading an end-to-end transformation for a department store in Central America
  • shaping a “good-to-great” effort for a Central American bank by targeting a $50 million improvement in both revenue and cost
  • leading the strategic sourcing transformation of a consumer-goods company in Argentina spanning personal care, home care, and food that achieved 12 percent net savings
  • helping a regional bank in Colombia define an outsourcing strategy for IT infrastructure and application development that generated potential benefits of more than $15 million per year
