Let’s Talk

McKinsey is committed to improving the representation of women in leadership positions within the firm and demonstrating to our clients how diverse teams help get to the best solutions.

Let’s Talk is for experienced career professionals, up to the c-suite level, who self-identify as women and are based in Europe. It is an opportunity to connect with our partners and consultants, build a network, and discover more about McKinsey and the work we do.

Let’s Talk

A one-on-one meeting with one of our senior colleagues will introduce you to the consulting industry and show you how you could broaden your experience beyond a single organization or sector. You will be able to ask any questions that are on your mind and exchange ideas on topics that matter to you.

All registrations will be treated with strict confidentiality, and there’s no obligation to move forward if you change your mind. Please note that not all interested individuals will receive an invitation to meet with a McKinsey colleague.

Conversations with McKinsey women

Katy George

Katy George, senior partner in New Jersey, shares her perspective on diversity and inclusion.

Anna Herlt

McKinsey offers flexibility in its opportunities: “I can achieve balance between personal and private life, and enjoy the team spirit that working at McKinsey brings.”

Anna Koivuniemi

Experienced hires are able to respond to challenges in a different way, with an increased perception of a client’s leadership and operating structures: “I can really understand how clients operate, how decisions are made, and how to get something done!”

Annika Reinartz

Across both industries and our firm, there is a role for women leaders: “I strongly believe that there is much more room for female leaders to shape where we are going.”

Konstanze Reinecke

Diversity helps us grow both personally and professionally: “I enjoy working with diverse teams in terms of both background and expertise, and also the diversity of our clients—working from Copenhagen to Cape Town!”

Helena Sarkanova

It’s not just clients who benefit from the expertise of our experienced hires: “I learn from the expertise and the credibility that they bring to the table, and our clients also value it a lot.”

Ana Rita Sousa

More women at McKinsey will create impact both internally and externally, inspiring those already here and delivering better results for clients: “I’m a true believer that we need more women at McKinsey. It’s proven that the more diverse a team is, the more creative it is and the more impact it creates. We need you and your industry expertise!”

“As an associate partner in our Operations Practice, I use my 10 years of experience in production to advise clients working within advanced industries. I love that I get to work with so many incredible and smart people within the firm. It can feel a little overwhelming at first, but by talking to people and getting to understand the firm’s spirit, I now feel part of a team: that’s probably the biggest difference to my previous roles—decisions are made together rather than just by one person.”

— Stefanie Frank, associate partner, Munich

“Before becoming a consultant, I earned my Masters and PhD in civil engineering and was a construction manager in Scandinavia. It was McKinsey’s excellent reputation, knowledge, and expertise in capital projects and infrastructure that attracted me to the firm, as well as the opportunity to further build and grow the Operations Practice. I particularly appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit in our practice and across the firm—it’s part of everyone’s mindset. The firm fosters an open culture where you can really make your own McKinsey.”

— Ailke Heidemann, associate partner, Stuttgart
