Let’s Talk

McKinsey is committed to improving the representation of women in leadership positions within the firm and demonstrating to our clients how diverse teams help get to the best solutions.

Let’s Talk is for experienced career professionals, up to the c-suite level, who self-identify as women and are based in Europe. It is an opportunity to connect with our partners and consultants, build a network, and discover more about McKinsey and the work we do.

Let’s Talk

A one-on-one meeting with one of our senior colleagues will introduce you to the consulting industry and show you how you could broaden your experience beyond a single organization or sector. You will be able to ask any questions that are on your mind and exchange ideas on topics that matter to you.

All registrations will be treated with strict confidentiality, and there’s no obligation to move forward if you change your mind. Please note that not all interested individuals will receive an invitation to meet with a McKinsey colleague.

“After 16 years of working in a variety of industries, I joined the firm in the London office as an Associate Partner in Operations.

McKinsey is truly a remarkable place where your experience and knowledge combined with collaboration with exceptional people can bring lasting impact to clients. The recruitment teams are well positioned to support senior leaders joining the firm both in navigating the new environment, as well as in establishing the foundations for success. As an experienced hire, you have the opportunity to do meaningful work and drive change on topics you are passionate about, whilst mentoring new colleagues.

“Let’s Talk” is a great forum to have personalised, open conversations with people who have walked the same journey.

We can share our experience of the interview process and help you succeed, as well as answer burning questions, such as the transition from industry to consulting, work–life balance, starting out in the firm, building your network, and what success means to you at McKinsey. Please get in touch!”

— Joy Anwuri, associate partner, London

It can feel a little overwhelming at first, but by talking to people and getting to understand the firm’s spirit, I now feel part of a team: that’s probably the biggest difference to my previous roles—decisions are made together rather than just by one person.”
