About Vladimir

Vladimir joined McKinsey’s Moscow office in 2006. He specializes in projects in the telecommunications, metallurgy, mining, transport and engineering sectors in Russia, the CIS, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. He contributes to the work of McKinsey’s Global Telecommunications, Operations and Purchasing and Supply Management practices.

Examples of recent projects: 

  • B2B segment service strategy for a large international telecoms group; 
  • implementation of organizational structure and quality management in customer service;  
  • introduction of best pricing practices for global telecommunications players; 
  • comprehensive operational efficiency enhancement program in a vertically integrated metallurgical holding company; 
  • implementation of a procurement cost savings program for a major engineering holding company.

Vladimir coauthored the McKinsey report "Digital Russia: new reality".

Prior to joining McKinsey, Vladimir worked as a technology and legal compliance expert in an electrical power company.
