Leads McKinsey’s Growth, Marketing & Sales Practice globally and in North America, where he assists companies in achieving above-industry growth and performance through AI- and technology-led transformations

As global and North America leader of the Growth, Marketing & Sales Practice, Steve spearheads end-to-end transformation efforts for some of the world’s largest organizations. He works shoulder-to-shoulder with business leaders across sectors to move on their growth aspirations from strategy to full-scale implementation and agile execution utilizing analytics, technology, and digital capabilities.

Known for his rigor and expertise in holistic growth impact, he has helped the practice and clients harness the promise of AI and technology to boldly execute on their growth agendas.

Examples of client momentum include:

  • leading a multiyear commercial transformation for a global distributor, yielding more than $500 million in incremental operating profit

He has been a driving force for the practice, innovating client partnerships and expanding technical capabilities.

In addition, Steve previously led McKinsey’s Atlanta region and remains active in the Atlanta community by serving on the executive committee and board of directors for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce as well as Central Atlanta Progress.
