About Ruben

Ruben is a partner in McKinsey’s Antwerp office. As a member of our Business Technology Practice, he focuses mainly on helping clients to develop and execute IT strategies, combat technological challenges, and create business value from IT. His clients range from financial-services institutions to public-sector organizations.

In addition, Ruben has extensive experience as a trusted adviser to telecommunications companies on topics including business planning, network technology, fiber-to-the-home strategy and roll-out, call centers, field force, and IT infrastructure.

His recent projects include an IT value- assurance program and a fiber-to-the-home deployment project for a telecom company, a growth-strategy project for a company in information and communications technology services, and a digital-enterprise transformation for a retail bank.

Ruben is especially enthusiastic about large-scale transformations and the use of end-to-end approaches to unlock extra impact by breaking down barriers between internal groups and driving collaboration across the whole organization.

Before joining McKinsey, Ruben obtained an MBA from Vlerick Business School and an MSc in computer engineering from Ghent University.
