About Rohit

Rohit supports clients on a broad range of issues, including growth strategy, market entry, digital transformation, pricing, revenue management, and sales and channel management. Since joining McKinsey in 2005, Rohit has worked with clients in Southeast Asia, India, Australia, and New Zealand.

Rohit’s recent projects include the following:

  • designing a growth strategy and implementation road map for a leading apparel and footwear company in India and Indonesia
  • implementing a market-entry strategy for the baby foods business of a consumer-goods company in Southeast Asia
  • delivering a revenue-growth-management program for a leading food company in Australia and New Zealand
  • creating a digital transformation program (covering consumer engagement and experience initiatives) for a leading quick-service-restaurant business across Asia
  • delivering new route-to-market and revenue-growth programs for a leading multinational personal-care company in Southeast Asia
  • launching a channel and distribution strategy for a leading consumer-goods company in Indonesia

Among other projects, Rohit has also helped a Southeast Asian prime minister use information management and analyses to ensure world-class planning for high-density living environments, advised a national energy ministry on a long-term plan for the energy sector, and helped an energy regulator assess future fuel and technology requirements for land transportation, including designing a test bed for launching electric vehicles in the country.

Rohit sits on an external advisory panel, helping the government of Singapore make retail-sector-productivity improvements. He is also a frequent speaker at retail conferences, speaking on “Retail Productivity Best Practices: Key challenges and productivity solutions,” at the 2013 Singapore Retail Industry Conference.
