About Robert

Rob assists a broad range of healthcare clients, from pre-IPO venture-backed biotechnology and medical-device players to large, diversified, multinational healthcare companies. He offers support to leadership teams on corporate strategy, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, portfolio optimization, commercial performance, organization, and operational improvement.

Rob leads McKinsey’s Healthcare Systems & Services Practice on the west coast and focuses on innovating how we serve our healthcare clients—from bringing new capabilities, like digital and analytics, to providing more flexible support models for a broader range of clients, such as high-growth, earlier-stage healthcare companies. He also leads McKinsey’s approach to productivity transformation in healthcare and is active in the firm’s globalization initiative, having worked extensively on projects in emerging markets, including Brazil, China, India, the Middle East, and Russia.

Before joining McKinsey, Rob was a corporate lawyer focusing on M&A, IPOs, and private-equity-backed transactions.
