About Nina

Nina leads our European Social Sector Hub and serves public, international, and social sector organizations—including United Nations agencies, EU institutions, foundations, and public–private partnerships—as well as donors on a broad range of impact areas such as education, global public health, and agriculture.

Nina is one of the core leaders of our Organization Practice, focused on large-scale transformations in performance and culture as well as institutional capability building and leadership development across the private, public, and social sectors.

Her core expertise is in increasing effectiveness and efficiency of organizations to better deliver on their mission. This means implementing a healthy organizational culture, redesigning their operating model and organizational structure to be fit-for-purpose, reviewing business processes and ways of working, and delivering change management to sustain the change on the ground.

Nina is also one of the leaders of McKinsey Academy—the firm’s leadership development capability—where she supports clients in strengthening their teams and building their capabilities, and helps leaders develop skills and shift their mindsets to drive change.

Before joining McKinsey, Nina was an attorney-at-law working in M&A. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s degree in law with highest honors as well as a Bar Exam from the Zurich Court.

Nina is bilingual (French and German) and fluent in English and Spanish.
