Motoki is a leader within McKinsey Digital in Japan and across Asia, specializing in driving corporate value through core technology transformation. His expertise spans digital and AI transformation, enterprise architecture modernization, data and platform transformation, legacy system migration, IT resilience, and IT cost optimization.

He has led numerous end-to-end technology transformations across a broad range of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, distribution, and retail. His work ranges from modernizing mission-critical systems and core technology infrastructure to shaping and executing digital and AI strategies, supporting clients of varying sizes and across multiple geographies. 

Before joining McKinsey, he worked at Nomura Research Institute, where he spent more than 20 years as a systems engineer and systems consultant delivering large-scale systems for clients in financial services, automotive, and infrastructure sectors. He spent a decade based in various countries across Asia, supporting Japanese companies in system development and digitalization.
