About Manish

Manish, who has been with the firm for 15 years, focuses on serving healthcare institutions in the private and public sectors in Asia, the Middle East, and the United States. He leads the firm’s client service in pricing in the Americas region and in healthcare pricing globally.

Manish specializes in helping healthcare institutions on their overall strategy, M&A, revenue management, operational improvement, and organizational design and effectiveness. His recent clients include large private, public, and not-for-profit health systems; reputable academic medical centers; a national laboratory diagnostics-services company; leading multinational pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical-product companies; and private investors with healthcare interests.

Manish’s time at McKinsey has spanned four offices (Detroit, New Jersey, Singapore, and New York). He was based in the United States from 2001 to 2010 before moving to Asia (where he was based in Singapore for two years) and returned to New York in 2012.

In Asia, Manish led McKinsey’s Singapore office as managing partner and served private- and public-sector clients in Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, in healthcare and beyond. He also led the Pricing service line for the broader Asia–Pacific region.

He is the author of a recent book, The Equanimous Mind, in which he shared his experiences with mindfulness meditation and the positive impact it has had on his personal and professional life.
