Leandro is a senior leader of McKinsey Technology, helping both technology providers and large enterprises that are heavy users of technology with multiple aspects of their businesses. He also leads McKinsey’s digital infrastructure and security work in North America and is the firm’s global leader of IT M&A work. Additionally, he drives McKinsey’s client engagement on the advancement and adoption of cloud services.

In his work with tech providers, he helps companies with growth, portfolio and market-entry strategy, M&A, business simplification, and operational efficiency efforts. In his work with enterprises that are large users of technology, he helps with digital and tech-enabled transformation, IT merger integrations, and spend optimization.

Examples of Leandro’s recent client work include the following:

  • leading the cloud transformation for a large financial insights provider, extending from the strategy and business case to standing up the program, designing a target architecture and operating model, and planning the transformation
  • supporting the transformation of a large IT services provider’s sales model and services marketing, including optimization, improving account centricity and local market success
  • helping a global technology OEM undergo a technology-enabled global operating model transformation, including global ERP rationalization and deployment, sales operations standardization, and internal capability building and change management
  • leading a technology and data analytics integration for the merger of two global oil and gas companies, including target blueprint, value capture, and operating model transformation
  • helping an IT services provider sector go public, from deal rationale to strategy, financial architecture design, delivery operations transformation, integration, and listing activities
  • leading strategy, due diligence, and functional optimization for a global IT services company through a series of acquisitions and divestitures to reshape its business portfolio
  • helping a global telecom operator undergo business, process, and system simplification across product design, offerings, go-to-market, operations, and technology to optimize customer experience and reduce cost-to-serve
