Kyle is a senior partner in McKinsey’s Healthcare Practice. A physician by background, he coleads McKinsey’s health system transformation work in the US and the firm’s clinical operations work globally.
Kyle helps health systems navigate a rapidly evolving landscape, leading large-scale transformations across many of the country’s leading health systems as they position for long-term growth amid rapidly developing technology, shifting reimbursement models, workforce constraints, and competitive pressure. His work spans near-term performance improvement and longer-term repositioning, including topline growth, cost optimization, care-model redesign, and increasingly, the use of AI and digital tools to accelerate results. By integrating strategy, operations, and technology, he helps health systems strengthen financial resilience while expanding access to care and improving its quality.
He holds an MD from Duke University School of Medicine, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, an MBA from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School as a Richard Jenrette Scholar, and an AB in economics and health policy from Harvard University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was recognized as a John Harvard Scholar.
Kyle is based in Charlotte, NC, where he lives with his wife and four children.
