Since joining McKinsey in 1991, Klaus has helped leading retailers and consumer-facing clients address strategic, organizational, and operational issues. Recently, he has been focusing on delivering digital transformations for his clients.

Klaus works with executives to discover sources of profitable growth and develop dependable growth strategies. Committed to helping clients sustain performance, he helps ensure that business processes and structures support growth ambitions over the long term. Klaus has a particular interest in digital topics, assisting clients with growth strategies and operational turnaround programs. His clients include leading retailers, consumer goods companies and consumer facing companies.

Klaus was a co-founder of McKinsey's office in Cologne. He is co-author of two business books. He is the editor of McKinsey's journal Akzente, and an editor and contributor to various McKinsey publications.
