Kabir is a partner in McKinsey’s Media & Entertainment and High Tech Practices, focusing on growth strategies, sales and marketing, and digital innovation. He also has expertise supporting our sports clients.

He has deep experience in driving growth and boosting commercial programs. His expertise includes designing pay models, propelling growth and innovation “war rooms,” building capabilities, and increasing subscription and retention with advanced analytics.

Kabir also advises global sports organizations and their business partners on growth initiatives (such as innovation, pricing, and sponsorship sales), player development, and in-venue experience.

As a leader of McKinsey's work in the connected-consumer field (home, vehicle, wearables), he has advised some of the largest technology and service companies on strategy, technical platforms, pricing, and go-to-market execution.

Kabir serves on the social-impact board of the Ad Council and the board of trustees of the Unity Preparatory Charter School of Brooklyn.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Kabir founded two start-ups, one in consumer medical-product e-commerce and the other in digital video messaging. He has also worked in Accenture’s Innovation Center and at Bell Labs.
