Julia is a partner at McKinsey, where she leads work in the Financial Services Practice and on CEO leadership. She helps CEOs and other senior leaders transition into new roles, align their teams, put the right talent in the right place, and achieve sustained performance. Her work includes counseling executive teams and boards on leadership capabilities, organizational design, and change management.
As a leader of McKinsey’s CEO Excellence work, Julia has helped shape the firm’s approach to counseling leaders throughout their journeys, from aspiring CEOs to mid-tenure leaders looking for the next S-curve to those planning for succession. Julia is also a core contributor to McKinsey’s research on the role of the CEO and co-contributed to the book A CEO for All Seasons. Her research brings together perspectives on CEO leadership, talent management, and best practices for organizational performance.
