Joscha coleads our Commodity Trading as well as Risk and Resilience Service Line with a particular focus on power and gas markets.

He supports clients (utilities, energy and renewable payers, commodity trading organizations, technology providers) maximizing value (and managing risks) from its assets and commercial decisions, e.g.,

  • Investment and corporate strategies taking into account uncertainties around future market prices and design
  • Commercial strategies striving for optimal risk-return profile incl. capability building to set-up/scale commercial capabilities
  • Portfolio risk and market modelling as foundation for commercial and investment decision making
  • Use of advanced analytics techniques to optimize assets and commercial decisions incl. leading transformation and capability building programs
  • Scaling and transforming commercial organizations including operating model with other units

He covers and has deep insights into all power and gas markets globally and is based in our Zurich office.
