Christian is a partner in McKinsey’s software sector as well as our Private Equity & Principal Investors Practice, focusing on change management and corporate strategy.

He has deep experience in advising software companies and private-equity groups investing in the software industry. His expertise includes go-to-market strategies, customer success, and product engineering.

Christian has previously managed transformation programs for leading software as a service (SaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) businesses, redesigned operating models for major B2B software companies, and led many due diligence efforts on software and tech assets. He has worked extensively with large US-based and Chinese technology companies, leading transformation offices and coaching chief technology officers on change management.

Before joining McKinsey, he worked for another management consultancy, and in banking.
