Kaushik is the managing partner of McKinsey’s offices in Southeast Asia. Passionate about the future of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), he serves clients in Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and Thailand on issues related to sustainability, growth, competitiveness, and productivity. He has experience working across industries—including energy, basic materials, logistics, consumer products, and the public sector—and in numerous markets throughout Asia and Europe.

He previously led the Jakarta office for five years. A homegrown leader, Kaushik is deeply committed to youth development in the region. He supports YLI Indonesia (Young Leaders for Indonesia), a program designed to develop the next generation of leaders in the country and other social initiatives. In the past, Kaushik has been based in McKinsey’s London office for some time, where he served companies in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Italy.
