Since joining McKinsey, Jae has focused on supporting operational transformation. Often called upon to advise on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, he has particular expertise in EPC project turnaround. He also helps companies optimize their portfolio and set effective growth strategy, including pursing mergers and acquisitions. Jae has worked for industry-leading companies in China, Korea, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Taiwan.

He also directed the Korean edition of No Ordinary Disruption, a McKinsey Global Institute book evaluating four forces colliding and transforming the global economy.
