Coleads the firm’s North America Private Equity Practice and the analytics group that delivers healthcare market insights on strategy and investment

Neha is a senior partner in the Social Sector, Healthcare, & Public Sector Entities and Private Capital Practices. She coleads McKinsey’s work on healthcare private equity in North America, advising private capital investors and portfolio companies across the healthcare services landscape. Neha also leads the analytics group for healthcare market insights for McKinsey, which delivers asset-enabled support for strategy and private equity engagements.

Neha supports investors on all phases of diligence (including buy- and sell-side), fund strategy and themes, and portfolio company strategy, integration, and transformation work.

Neha has led over 100 private equity diligence efforts in healthcare services and more than 50 portfolio value-creation initiatives. Her recent client work includes:

  • supporting a multiyear M&A strategy for a healthcare payer services company, identifying potential growth vectors and a rapid M&A identification and diligence plan to execute
  • leading a multiyear portfolio transformation, including operational/cost turnaround, revenue growth acceleration, and diversification strategy
  • conducting over 15 commercial/go-to-market and growth efforts across payer and provider service portfolio companies
  • supporting exit strategy and synergy assessment for a healthcare services portfolio company

Before joining McKinsey, Neha worked in Tanzania with the global health NGO Touch Foundation and with the Acumen Fund in India, supporting its healthcare investment portfolio. She holds an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School, where she focused on international development and global health, as well as a degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin. She is also a contributor to the McKinsey book, Valuation: Measuring and Managing the Value of Companies.
