Yujin leads McKinsey’s Electric Power & Natural Gas Practice in the Seoul office. With over a decade of experience in the energy sector, she possesses a comprehensive understanding of the critical challenges and evolving needs associated with the energy transition. Leveraging her extensive expertise, Yujin has successfully advised a broad range of clients both within South Korea and globally, helping them navigate business transformation and identify new growth opportunities.

- developing a global market entry strategy for a floating offshore wind equipment manufacturer
- advising an energy developer on mid- to long-term growth strategies and business models for renewable energy and energy solutions
- identifying energy storage system opportunities and developing a US entry strategy for a power equipment manufacturer
- leading a corporate-wide transformation across all functions for one of the world’s largest refineries
- conducting commercial diagnostics and driving the implementation of commercial excellence for a major Asian petrochemical company
- designing an optimal energy service business model and advising on the operating model for a newly established energy service company within a utility
Prior to joining McKinsey, Yujin worked in corporate strategy and new business development for Doosan Enerbility.
