About Yael

Yael is a senior partner in McKinsey’s High Tech, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications Practices, and coleads the firm's product transformation work. She serves many leading B2C companies on issues of digital and product portfolio growth. Her clients span consumer technology and media, wireless, and information services.

Yael advises her clients on issues that include digital acquisition and audience development, new product development, and commercialization. In addition to her client work, she leads McKinsey’s network of Experience Studios globally, a series of innovation spaces for clients to participate in experiential workshops, capability building programs, and interact with the local technology community. She also leads recruiting for McKinsey for the Northeast.

Yael graduated summa cum laude from Yale, and received her MBA from Harvard Business School. Prior to Yale, she graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music Preparatory Division in classical piano performance. She was the producer of a documentary on HIV, which aired on Showtime and won the Audience Award at the Los Angeles Film Festival.

Yael serves on the board of the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
