About Thomas

Thomas is a Senior Partner in McKinsey's Southern Office, where he serves global energy, chemicals, and technology clients. He founded our Capital Productivity Practice and Renewal Energy service lines, and led our Global Energy Practice in the Houston Office and Southern Region. Thomas serves on McKinsey's Shareholders Council, the Firm's Board, and leads the global Partner Election Committee.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Thomas built and managed a technical consulting firm serving clients in Europe and Asia. During his time in academia, Thomas conducted research on various energy-related topics, contributed papers to several publications as well as co-authored books, and served on several boards and working groups including state energy advisory council.
