Simone is a partner in McKinsey’s London office. He leads Finalta by McKinsey in Southern Europe, Africa, and Latin America and oversees Finalta’s global expertise and capabilities in retail banking revenue growth and customer value creation.
Finalta is a global leader in performance benchmarking and analytics for financial services, collaborating with over 350 financial institutions across 50 countries. It leverages 380 billion proprietary data points to provide insights into capabilities, processes, and operational drivers that promote superior performance.
Simone has assisted more than 80 banks in identifying and achieving opportunities for revenue growth and value creation. His expertise includes:
- enhancing value-based customer segmentation
- developing and implementing commercial strategies that boost customer primacy, share of wallet, and value capture
- optimizing value from customer acquisition and retention
- innovating distribution and service models through digital, analytics, and AI
Prior to joining McKinsey, Simone gained extensive experience in retail banking and payments as a strategy consultant at Roland Berger and Deloitte and holding a number of management positions at American Express and Mastercard.
In his free time, Simone enjoys hiking, spending time near the sea, driving his motorcycle, and staying fit to keep up with his two sons.
