A leader of our Financial Services Practice in Indonesia and a member of global risk-management leadership group; leads our work with major banks and insurance companies in the region

Sergey joined McKinsey in 2008 and is now a partner with our Jakarta office. He has run multiple projects in strategy development and strategy implementation support, including ecosystem and new digital business build for major banks in the region. He implemented best-in-class credit and collections processes for retail, small, and corporate-business segments, as well as helped leading institutions leverage big data and advanced analytics to improve key banking processes such as pricing, risk assessment, risk monitoring, collections.

Besides banks, he works extensively with insurance and reinsurance companies. He helps major insurance companies define optimal portfolio composition, formulate risk-acceptance criteria, and decide on required changes in major processes to achieve strong, profitable growth.

Prior to joining McKinsey, he worked in public-private finance project teams.
