Mikael is a senior partner based in McKinsey’s Stockholm office. His primary focus is strategy and operations in industry sectors across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

He takes a particular interest in how to strengthen the competitiveness of industry at large, including how companies in the industrial and electronics space can adapt and lead the way in sustainability and decarbonization, often through technology and innovation. This includes supporting clients on green business building and growth. He has coled our research on manufacturing strategies of the future and initiatives to support industrial clients on sustainability, digital, and automation.

As a leader in McKinsey Academy, Mikael also supports organizations in building up the capabilities needed to succeed with operation transformations and the many disruptions facing industrial companies. Mikael is a regular speaker at external conferences on topics relating to strategy and operations.
