Marti leads McKinsey’s AI work for retail banking globally, supporting financial institutions in designing and implementing large-scale AI transformations.
He works with incumbent banks, digital attackers, and insurance companies across Europe, North America, and Latin America, helping them transform their businesses with AI at the center. Marti has experience driving growth transformation, front-to-back customer journey reimagination, operating model, and tech modernization.
Some of his recent client work includes:
- defining AI strategy and operating model to support multiyear transformations
- scaling agentic AI in banking operations with the goal of becoming fully automated
- leading enterprise-wide transformations focused on scaling AI and digital capabilities, including modernizing the operating model, building an agentic platform, and reskilling talent
- defining long-term strategy for retail deposits while assessing potential disruptions from AI
- leading growth transformations, including digital marketing and AI-enabled client onboarding
Marti has been with McKinsey since 2012, including eleven years in McKinsey’s Boston office, where he served clients across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. In 2025, he relocated back to Europe, where he continues to support banks and other financial institutions in scaling AI transformations and other strategic topics.
