With more than 14 years’ experience serving advanced-industrial and high-tech clients, Mark leads McKinsey’s Internet of Things (IoT) work globally and our digital business-building work for advanced industries. A passionate believer in the impact that IoT, analytics, and artificial intelligence will have on improving our lives, work, society, and health, Mark has committed his client and professional focus to these issues over the last five years.
For almost eight years, Mark was one of the lead partners in McKinsey’s Semiconductor Practice and biosystems work. Beyond McKinsey, he has had two experiences in building and leading early-stage high-tech companies. As an executive at a leading company in synthetic biology, Mark led commercial operations, strategy, and data science. Mark was also part of the early team at a venture-funded developer of application software for mobile operators.
