Helps pharmaceutical and medical product companies grow, using the power of digital technologies

Laura Richter is a partner in McKinsey’s Berlin office and coleader of the firm’s work in pharmaceuticals and medtech throughout Germany. She primarily advises clients in the pharmaceutical, digital health, and diagnostic space. Her focus is on strategy and digital topics. The driving passion behind her work is to ensure that all patients get access to and benefit from the best treatment and support they can, whether it’s drug treatment or digital care elements.

She has extensive experience advising both large pharma clients, but also younger digital health companies on strategy topics as well as digital transformations. A lot of Laura’s work centers around analytics and data-driven business models. She has advised digital health companies on their way to becoming “unicorns” by commercializing and scaling their offering, as well as pharma companies to transform their go-to-market models using digital technologies.

She is one of the leaders of the Healthcare Technology Network and the coauthor of the annual eHealth Monitor, which assesses the progress of digitization of the German healthcare system from a multidimensional perspective.
