Kate is a leader in McKinsey’s Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice, advising private- and public-sector organizations on growth strategy and execution. She works with client organizations to develop strategic transformations, in particular focusing on transformational growth, innovation, and M&A. As a leader of our strategy and growth work, she is a thought leader, conceptualizing where and how organizations can meet their growth objectives, as well as how to manage the multiyear pursuit of growth.

Kate brings a decade and a half of advising experience to her client work. She works across industries in the private sector, concentrating particularly on advanced industries such as automotive, basic and advanced materials, and industrial components. She also serves the public sector and is a leader of McKinsey’s defense work in Detroit.

In addition to her client work, Kate is one of the leaders of the firm’s Advancing with Excellence initiative, which focuses on building the capabilities and networks of senior executives to ready them for CEO and company board positions in advanced industries and energy sectors.
