Kari is the managing partner of McKinsey Finland and the Baltics, and leads the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice in Finland. He helps executives create growth plans and execute performance improvements. His clients range from fast growing start-ups to well-established international high-tech corporations. In addition, he also helps clients with different sourcing and supply chain-related challenges.

Recent examples of Kari’s client projects include the following:

  • helping a Finland-based client create a new growth and monetization plan for a region in Asia
  • developing a plan for a start-up and scale-up company to maximize customer lifetime value and revenue growth
  • supporting a multinational corporation with its sourcing transformation

Kari has deep international expertise on high-tech businesses, both from public cloud and consumer electronics. Before joining McKinsey, he held several executive roles in business and product management, operations, and supply chain at Microsoft and Nokia.

Outside of work, Kari enjoys sampling new restaurants and skiing on fresh powder.
