Julien specializes in guiding clients through the implementation of change and the strategic expansion of digital and technology utilization. His expertise extends to facilitating external growth by leveraging insights into consumer behavior, regulations, and social-environmental needs.
Over 15 years of experience working with LPs, GPs, and portfolio companies, Julien Revellat has gained in-depth knowledge of the challenges faced by all categories of private market players. He supports them throughout their investment cycles: from diligence to exit strategy, including portfolio valuation and development. He also helps clients in their large-scale transformations involving strategic repositioning or identification of both organic and external growth drivers. He particularly focuses on extracting with them the operational value of cutting-edge technologies, such as Agentic AI and Advanced Analytics.
He leads McKinsey's activities and teams in France across all private finance verticals – especially industry, technology, finance, consumer goods, and life sciences.
Julien supports private organizations navigating market disruptions, offers expertise to investment funds—such as venture capital, growth, and leveraged buyouts—in portfolio valuation, and collaborates with start-ups to accelerate sales.
Over the past 15 years, Julien has helped guide more than 10 company transformations, 50 due diligences, and 40 growth projects. In parallel, he has co-led our global research efforts in agriculture, foodtech, and agtech technologies.
Before joining the firm in 2017, and following an initial experience with transactions, Julien spent 10 years as a consultant in large firms. In this time, he helped guide the work of process industry clients, particularly in chemicals and agriculture.
